OUR CLINIC
At Sharp Exotic & Small Animal Veterinary Clinic, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care for all your unique companions. Located in Kraaifontein, Cape Town, our purpose-built facility is designed to serve both exotic and small animals, from cats and dogs to parrots, bunnies, and beyond. Led by Dr. Sharp, with over 20 years of veterinary experience, our team is committed to ensuring the health and happiness of your pets.
Dr. Sharp’s vision was to create a clinic geared for exotic and avian patients, while continuing to care for cats and dogs, blending her passion for both. At her previous practice in Johannesburg, where she was a partner, focusing on exotics was challenging as the team and facilities were primarily geared toward dogs and cats. Despite these challenges, her passion and persistence enabled her to build valuable experience with exotic animals. After moving to Cape Town, she furthered this knowledge and experience, solidifying her dream of combining the two effectively to deliver the high standard of care she believes all animals deserve.
Having owned or fostered a wide variety of species over the years, encompassing nearly every species that may need care, Dr. Sharp offers invaluable advice on responsible pet ownership, complementing her medical expertise as a veterinarian.
Her longstanding relationships and history with various rescue organizations further reflect her deep commitment to animal welfare. Our clinic, equipped with advanced X-ray, diagnostic equipment, and digital monitoring of patient environments, brings this vision to life.
